Ulseth Ranching

Ulseth Ranching is a family-owned cattle ranching and land-holding company based near Veteran, in southeastern Alberta. The name on the land is ours; the work is the same work that has always belonged to this country — looking after cattle, looking after grass, and keeping the place in order for the people who will come after us.

We do not publish acreage, herd counts, or maps of our holdings. Those details stay with the family. What we will say is simple: we ranch, we hold land, and we intend to still be doing both a generation from now.

Stewardship, for us, is not a slogan. It is the daily practice of sound management — of pasture, water, cattle, and the quiet decisions that keep a place healthy. We raise cattle with care, and we treat the agricultural heritage of southeastern Alberta as something to be carried forward, not used up.
